Bits of the day

The weather has been so incredible that it's hard to believe I'm on spring break rather than summer.  Even in Virginia, I don't think we ever had a first day of spring like this.

Salad weather

Strong winds at the lake tempered the 80+ degree weather

A new daily routine -- dinner outside by candlelight followed by a drink and a few games of cards.  Tonight we had yakitori with spinach and eggplant, yaki onigiri, and a carrot cake I made for dessert.
